I find remarkable similarities to Auburn and A&M and it is fair to say A&M is being overlooked. It is possible for two reasons.
1) Auburn has a history of bouncing back from disappointing years. The 5 loses weren't unexpected given the schedule but the lack of fight and shooting yourself in the foot like Auburn did against teams like A&M, MSU and Wisconsin was tough to take.
2) It is unfair to say Sumlin and Gus are similar. They both score points but when things work in Gus' offense he punishes the defense with a physical running game. Most football minds believe that is a better strategy than Sumlin's pitch and catch philosophy.
I wouldn't be shocked if A&M put it together this year, but I would't predict it either.
