That's a fair point. But I'd argue that American Christianity is two generations away from Dispensationalism being of far less influence. The two churches I've attended in the past decade are both probably in the megachurch category and neither teach Dispensationalism. Nor do either of them even teach a favoritism for the modern state of Israel.
