Cost of living may not be too bad, but the housing market is...people are dropping $300,000+ for 2 bedroom/1bath fixer-upers. That can get you a whole lot of house somewhere else.

Yeah, something in a place that offers nothing but chain restaurants, high school sports, and local hole in the wall cover bands. I paid under $200k and got 3 bedroom/2 and a half baths.
