It had only three 4-stars in it, Michael Ricks (academics ruled ineligible), Luther Davis (Saban's 1st Louisiana trophy), Brandon Gibson (really didn't pan out, played in only 4 games in 2009).

2007 Saban got to Bama in January. 2007 recruiting class was signed a month later in February.
