We don't need to tear it down completely, just redo the roof to get rid of the modern-y look one in favor of something that looks like the SEZ

That's a half-arse way to deal with it imo. It looks completely different than the SEZ other than the red seats and putting a red roof won't change that. If we end up just putting lipstick on the pig, we will end up with at least 3 different looking decks/pressboxes.

From the chatter, I'm assuming we will eventually tear down the West box and replace it with something in line with the SEZ look, so why can't we do the same thing with the East? Both sideline boxes need to span further down the sideline in the future too.

I feel like expanding the east and west side boxes to stretch further down the sidelines and adding overhangs to match the SEZ to both sides would do wonders in making the stadium "match" more.

I think a cool concept would be expanding the SEZ design throughout the east side and NEZ -- think continuous, symmetrical, matching boxes and overhangs with pockets in the corners for Jumbotron screens. Then on the west side add a "grand" structure with boxes and an upper deck. Something like Kansas State's press box with an upper deck above all.

ETA: this would obviously be a master plan. Start by matching the NEZ with SEZ with the next expansion.

Then connect the NEZ and SEZ with matching, continuous boxes.

The third phase would be updating the west side boxes to resemble that of Kansas State (or something similar).

The final phase would be an upper deck to the updated west side structure.
