Yet it sounds like you want more regulation? I mean the government telling people who can and can't be married is regulatory, right?
No, I'm a traditonalist when it comes to this issue. I believe marriage is defined as a man and woman united, period. It's been pretty much defined as such throughout history. I have nothing against the gay population. What they do is their own business. I am opposed to them trying to re-define marriage and pushing their believe on the general population and thus bastardizing the constitution as it was intended.
So the new regulation isn't coming from me, it's from the Supreme Courts ruling and what will inevitably happen because of that.

That's fine, if marriage wasn't a legal contract. That's reality now. It's fine being a traditionalist (in fact there is much to respect there), but marriage is no longer a religious institution. It can be a religious ceremony, but the institution is now a governmental procedure. It is a legal state. After all, you can have the ceremony all you want but it doesn't mean anything without the paperwork.

This is a football board. FOOTBALL! not a place to express your political fears of concerns.
that being said, marriage is not guaranteed but freedom from discrimination in any contract is. Marriage can be a religious ceremony, but in in the eyes of a government, it's a contract. There are legal and financial benefits to officially marrying someone. Gays want them. Why is that wrong?
No one wants to be married in your religion if you don't want it, they just want the same legal rights as you. Gays only agenda is to be accepted and treated properly, not to destroy your incorrect ideas about morality and tradition.
Back to football now please.
