Changing the flag is pointless because it changes nothing for really anyone here and I don't care whether it changes or doesn't. It isn't going to make this state skinnier, smarter, or safer for children. It's not going to change people's perception of Mississippi or Mississippians. If it makes a few self-aggrandizing people pat themselves on the back then they can knock themselves out changing it. The core issuses facing this state are going to be the same as they've been our entire lives.
