How much of the support for the battle flag do y'all think comes not from a sense of hate or racism, but a statement of "Eff you! Don't tell me what to do!" at what they perceive as busybodies and do-gooders?

Several trips a year to India, unfortunately a dash to China every now and then. Was in Lagos, Nigeria a few weeks ago of all places and an advertiser was using a strangely similar icon to a swastika as the backdrop in an ad. Have seen it used several times in the middle east although it was most likely done purposefully to irritate as the arabs seem to have a strange Hitler fixation, likely due to a shared hatred of Hebrews.
