What do you guys do during this depressed time?

During June, I read some miscellaneous books I've been putting off (this year it was Greg Iles and the Jerry Lee Lewis biography by Rick Bragg). Made a two week trip to Seattle, Canada, and Alaska earlier in the month.

During July, I read some sports/football related books (this year it will be King of Sports by Greg Easterbrook, Pay for Play about NCAA reform, and Friday Night Lights), gnosh on the Media Days stuff, and make a visit or two to the CFB Hall of Fame. Might make a few day trips to Savannah or Chattanooga while I have the time.

Come August, everything levels out as practice starts and I begin making tailgating arrangements and weekend plans (getting food lists together, head counts on out of town guests, etc.).

ETA: Only way I'm bothering to see the Braves this year is if I'm given tickets. My heart is just not in it with this team.
