Actually ... you're right, the debate is over.
A&M had the better overall season.
Ark had the better spurt from about mid-season and through the super regional although they had the easier row to hoe and they failed miserably in Omaha.

Seeing that post-season always trumps regular season, Arky had the better overall season.
