The gap in quality between college baseball and MLB is much higher than the gap between college basketball and NBA. There will never be an Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony type talent in college baseball. It's one of the reasons why minor league baseball is doing so well. That's the only place you'll be able to watch a Mike Trout or Bryce Harper before they make it to the big leagues.

The MLB is really worried about their demographics, their audience is getting grayer and grayer. That can't help the CWS.
