I really hope Sumlin, knowing that another 8 win season will make his seat slightly warm, will be more involved in the offensive play calling.

But to be fair to Spav, don't forget Kenny couldn't throw a deep ball. We all fussed about the screen plays but didn't realize what Spav already knew. Our offense pre Kyle and post Kyle looked different.

Spav was handcuffed all year.

Once teams figured out Kenny couldn't throw deep it was over. Couple that with our OL being soft, and our inability to run? Then a QB switch midseason, with a true freshman with prostyle HS experience?

Spav is very gifted and I think his gameplan were pretty good when you take into account all the holes we had.

Almost none of our issues last year were spavs fault. The play calling was mostly Spav trying to do damage control.
