Bama is paying _____.

All I said was that it is not that far fetched.

Then cited:

Means and Logan Young

This provides a recent example of Alabama boosters (there were three other boosters involved, who were also part of the scheme), paying high school players to come to the University of Alabama.

Under a different coaching staff.

Doesn't matter. It was "rogue" Alabama boosters, not coaches, that were behind the Albert Means pay-offs.

Quick quiz: Which school has most recently been on probation for giving improper benefits, Alabama or LSU?

There is improper benefits like a coach helping a kid out with "a loan" or paying for an apartment (e.g. Corey Harris at Alabama or DJ McCarthy at LSU), then there is the FBI demonstrating in open court that an Alabama booster paid $150,000.00 in cash to secure the services of a high school football player. These things are not equivalent.

The past is a good indicator of the future and no one in the SEC has a history of cash-in-duffle bags like the University of Alabama and its boosters.

If you want to continue to live in homer land where everyone cheats except for lsu despite strong indications that they do, go for it. I won't continue to try to convince you that your Santa Claus isn't real.

Plenty of players who commit to lsu have had Alabama offers. Now either all of them are turning down thousands of dollars to play at a lesser institution or lsu is matching the monetary offers.

I am a realist. Those who would turn down six figures are few and far between. Those who commit to lsu that have Alabama offers are not.
