So is he the new OL coach as well?

No but he is helping the OL (one of the benefits of hiring him was his experience coaching OLs and even installing zone blocking which is what we use - it's a bit more complex for OLs to learn, especially in their first year, because it's dependent upon technique and footwork over muscle - you can see how that caused a new line problems last year especially the freshmen). The way the OL is pulling and blocking isn't like last year at all. They are better but only game time will tell how much better and that progress could still be very incremental considering we still have OL players that consist of mainly guards playing positions that aren't their natural ones. Hopefully, Richmond or Blair (who improves daily but at a painfully slow pace, though he's getting a lot closer now) can take over at least one of the tackle spots. If that happens it will help a lot because we can shift guys back to their natural positions.

Ugh, this was when UGA had it's worst OLs with Stacy Searels. As soon as we switched to man blocking with Friend. I will say that AU's zone blocking scheme has been pretty good the past few years.

Thanks for the detailed response
