Mark Ingram- NJ
When I read this, I thought... Wut?

Mark Ingram attended high school and was drafted by Alabama from Flint, Michigan. He may have been born in NJ, but Flint, Mich. claims him.

FLINT, Michigan — Mark Ingram Jr. has been interviewed by David Letterman, featured on the TODAY show and even met President Barack Obama at the White House.
But he said there was nothing like coming home to Flint Saturday for the first time since winning a national college football championship with the University of Alabama in January and the Heisman Trophy in December.

“I’ve been celebrated and honored in lots of places, but it’s more special to me to be honored at home,” said Ingram, a Flint native who played football at Grand Blanc High School and Flint’s Southwestern Academy.

“It feels good to be home, I’ll tell you that much.”

And the city loved having him home. LINK

Flint will be honored Saturday at Atwood Stadium.FLINT, Michigan -- The bleachers are beginning to fill in Atwood Stadium as about 200 Mark Ingram Jr. fans await to hear from the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner and Flint native.
Flint Southwestern Academy sophomores Fred Moore, 16, and Chris Sanders, 15, already saw the football star Friday when he spoke at one of his former schools.

"It makes me want to get out and do more, get out into the community," Moore said.

The school retired Ingram's jersey during the special ceremony Friday, Sanders said. LINK

The OP was bragging about how the state of Al. is dominating the SEC again.

I was just pointing out that he and all of the others were not from the state of Al.

When talking about which states produce the most talent, the state they played their High School football is what is normally used to make that determination.

He failed. It's O.K. It happens about every ten seconds on this site.
