Pretty much, yeah. At least as compared to other top schools. You're really going to say Bama would be where they are right now if Drew Brees goes to Miami instead of New Orleans? If you do you're completely delusional.

Doesn't this go against the rant theme of Saban being unable to cut it in the NFL? I've always heard he would've failed no matter who Miami signed as QB.

It's called life. In any situation and in any circumstance, something could always happen to change something that hasn't happened.

It's not luck that Alabama has had more Hall of Fame coaches than LSU has had NC's; it is commitment and desire to excel at football.

To use your silly example, if Les Miles had taken one more step into traffic without looking both ways, during his last season at Okie State, he would be dead now.

LSU would have never had the success they have had since LSU's savior left them for Alabama.

Therefore, it is complete luck that LSU has even had a winning season since Saban left.

If you think otherwise, you are completely delusional.
