It depends on who they hire after him. Considering the dearth of good head colleges in football, I say there's a 50-50 chance they fall back to the middle of the pack and compile an average record of 8-5, 9-4 for the next ten years until they hire another elite coach.

Right, you calculate a 50/50 percent chance of Alabama compiling seasonal records of 8-5 and 9-4, or close to that, for 10 years until they hire another elite coach.

Of course, you calculate this based on one 10 year period in which Alabama was under crippling and draconian sanctions.

During one ten year period, out of one hundred twenty two years, Alabama has had the type of averages you calculate.

This tells me that you are a horrible statistician or just a rival fan of a rival team who can't be objective due to irrationality.

Amirite?
