absolutely zero doubt in my mind they won't be what they are now. They wont' go back to the Shula days or anything, but it will be somewhere between that and what it is now. They'll win 10 games most years with some 8-9 win seasons and every couple years contend for the title. That's what they are as a program unless there is some legendary coach involved like Bear or Saban.

I'd say the biggest problem with your argument, is the fact that we've had more coaches win National titles, than any Sec team has won national titles. We are very capable of landing elite coaches. Or is hiring title winning coaches just pure luck?

That's a lot of wishful thinking. No doubt Alabama will go through cycles. That's inevitable. But to chalk of more than a century of success in football to the "luck" of having "legendary coaches" is extremely short sided.
