At this time, Texas makes more than SEC teams in TV payouts, and WV, Kansas and Oklahoma are about equal, with Kansas State at $28 million.

Lets look at the overall numbers… USA Today

Top 10 = (4) SEC and (2) B12 or 2:1 ratio
#2 Texas 161 M
#4 Alabama 153 M
#6 LSU 134 M
#7 Oklahoma 129 M
#9 Florida 125 M
#10 Texas A&M 119 M

Top 25 = (6) SEC and (2) B12 or 3:1 ratio
#11 Oklahoma State 118 M
#13 Auburn 114 M
#14 Tennessee 107 M
#19 Georgia 103 M
#22 South Carolina 99 M
#23 Kansas 98 M
#24 Arkansas 97 M
#24 Kentucky 97 M

Top 51 = (3) SEC and (3) B12 or 1:1 ratio
#32 Missouri 84 M
#35 West Virginia 78 M
#36 Texas Tech 77 M
#38 Ole Miss 76 M
#43 Kansas State 73 M
#51 Mississippi State

This gap will grow greatly next year when we see the first full year revenues of the SECN and when the new Tier III deals see a full year for schools like Alabama and Kentucky.

Congratulations. You are probably right. Care to show me a link to Kentucky's tier 3 television rights you speak of? Alabama's?

Texas always seems to be around the top of these lists, and I couldn't be less interested. I don't get any of this money. I don't buy t-shirts bragging about our revenue.

I care about one sport, football. We haven't won a national title in ten years. We haven't fielded a decent team in a half decade.

I understand why some schools get caught up in this nonsense. When you never win national titles in sports that matter, crap like this is all you have.
