If UAB had a 30,000 seat stadium, how many games would they sell out?

I'm really just playing devils advocate here. I moved to Birmingham last July and had planned on going to a UAB game.. just never made it over there. If UAB had a 40,000 seat stadium, whether it be on campus, in a better part of town, or even Regions Field (similar to the way the old Chargers Stadium was/may still be), I think you'd see an increase in attendance. You'd also see an increase in people going to the businesses around the stadium (Nobody is going to businesses around Legion) and you'd see an increase in my property's value (condo downtown). So I'd love to see it.

Agree 100%
Anybody who knows Birmgham knows the difference the location makes. UAB in the Northwest side of town in a 90 year old rust bucket. The worst part of town.
UAB is on the southside where young professionals are flocking to right now and there's pretty new construction projects going on all the time. A brand new stadium fits right in with the feel and lifestyle that is building in the Southside right now.

I worked the BBVA Bowl one year, it was my first time in Legion Field since the last AU-UA Game. I was shocked by the condition of the stadium and especially the restrooms. I do not think there is a fan base in the country that would support a program that had to play under those conditions. I am amazed by the fact they averaged 20K this year.
