quote:

Steele has mostly coached linebackers, with a little bit of experience at defensive backs. LSU had thought about hiring him as defensive backs coach in 2012, after he'd spent the year observing the program while his son Gordon worked as graduate assistant (Miles chose Corey Raymond instead). They later tried to give him an "administrative intern" position, similar to what is offered to Brick Haley now, but he wound up taking the Director of Player Personnel position at Bama.

So, you mean Miles chose an actual DB coach rather than hiring a guy with almost no experience with the position?

Someone alert the presses!!

ETA: I have no idea what I was trying to type the first time. It made zero sense.

I'm not trolling you guys or trying to get you riled up. A strong LSU Is good for A&M, and vice versa.

And school that hired Steele as a DC was gonna get hear about it.
