Cal makes $8M at UK and the Pelicans are only going to pay @ $4-5M for the new hire coach. Why take the pay cut and the extra drama in the NBA when you can have anything you desire at UK?

I can see the desire take another shot at the NBA and build a team around Anthony Davis at that level. If he leaves it'll be more about that than the money.

I don't think most people realize how much Cal is on the road visiting and watching recruits. The man is on a plane or in a hotel room 365. That's got to take a toll on you eventually, but with all that said, I don't think he leaves UK.
