Ahh, my mistake. I've been pimping Portis to fellow Mavs fans in the event he somehow fell down in the draft. One of the things I've been listing as a positive is his size.

He's in shape, he isn't a 5 block to block type player, but he isn't going to be asked to be either.
He is more than capable of guarding players his size/position all over the court (obviously quicker guards are going to drive by him), but most importantly he is able to run the court for long minute stretches which is important in the NBA game.
