Tiger Walk started in the 60's at Auburn. I don't think Tubby was roaming the sidelines back in those days.

Let's start at the beginning:
UGA - borrowed Yale's nickname and Handsome Dan mascot. G from the GB Packers.
UF - borrowed UVA's colors.
AU - borrowed Princeton's color and nickname
Ala - borrowed Harvard's nickname and color
Ole Miss - used the Harvard and Yale colors.
