What happened to Georgia football after 1982?

I was taking a break from work and searched wiki for a list of SEC champs all time and noticed what I thought was an anomaly. It lists all of these teams from 2015 down and UGA is only listed twice back until 1982.
SEC Titles since 1982:
Florida-9
Auburn-7
Alabama-6
LSU-6
Tennessee-5
UGA-2
Should UGA's status in the Big 6 be revoked?
It seems like the dawgs are all bark and no bite.

Very hard to believe with the amount of talent that has passed thru. Mizzu should be 6 now. Has Georgia won back to back East Division titles like Mizzu?

Just saying the REAL tDecline happened before many of us were even born...back in '82 (a simpler time...who was even President then?). All this time I've been living in this age and never knew it.

Good question. At what point do the championships UGA won start to be completely irrelevant? It seems like they are already and they have the weakest claim to "Big 6" membership.

yes, you fricking idiot, and we've also actually won the SEC title a few times. In fact, the 3rd most of any team in the league.
