I mean it's not like we are talking about some average talent that put up numbers in a system. He was a 5 star recruit who was in the starting rotation as a freshman. He has a lot of potential as an NFL HB. What likely made the Jaguars reach on him is that he is excellent in pass protection. He can start day one and they won't have to worry about that aspect.

ah ok.
This makes sense then Because the jaguars definitely need help in protection.
I watched him several times over the years but never followed him enough to see his blocking pick ups and such
I can see that being a deciding reason between he and the other backs available.
and of course he played against a higher level of talent in his college career.
