Given the way we recruit FL, NC, TN, and are beginning to recruit MS, LA, and MD, yeah we're starting to destroy in recruiting even moreso than our normal top 10 average.
You've gotten a total of 2 players out of Tennessee in the past 3 years. Not really impressive

It's pretty crazy to consider even with the number of games that don't even get counted or even now count against us - we still rank in the top 10 nationally and 3rd in the SEC.

It doesn't matter to me if we include or don't include the forfeited wins (personally I think we would have to not include them since the NCAA forfeited them).
I'd much rather be 10th in wins and have 6 national titles during that span, than to be 1st in wins with only 3 national titles...but maybe that's just me.

No one who has been following football for a long time should be surprised by this list. I was UGA class of '75 so yea I have seen the consistency of these top teams over the years. And Georgia while not great, only 1 NC during that period, has been pretty consistently good during that time. This pretty much conforms to my attitude about my alma mater: I expect Georgia to be competitive in every game. I don't expect them to win national championships.

Hint, Bama does not play in a weak conference like 1-7. Good work UGA.

Bammer has actually had to forfeit 30 games over the last 40 years
I just wanted to point out once again that this is just a lie.
Carry on.

Yep. Not all were forfeits, some were vacated.

No doubt considering Bama's obvious goal of winning national championships in football. Simply consider the primary role of any institution of learning and accept that winning national championships in football is not a top priority for our university. It's not that hard to grasp.

I didn't say it was hard to grasp.

Are we talking about football team expectations or primary roles of institutions of learning?

Don't be mad that MSU has been better than UT for the better part of a decade now; you've got a good class coming in. Lets just hope y'all can keep a coach around long enough to actually see success with them.

Actually we have the same amount of wins in the past decade, and Tennessee has at least won their division once in that span.
UT is also 2-1 vs MSU in that span

Shhh. What food is better in the Knoxville area?
MSU has access to everything they do and fresh Gulf seafood.
Fresh seafood in Knoxville consists of noodling for catfish in one of their nasty rivers by one of their ugly women.
MSU > UTooth

MSU has a hole in the wall pizza place called Stromboli's that I would put up against any pizza in the southeast. Other than that, it's mostly chains and nothing much to call home about. Dooey's BBQ is okay, but not good enough to be "famous".
As far as seafood goes, I would imagine the seafood in Starkville isn't much fresher than the seafood in Knoxville. UT is just a couple hours further from the coast than Starkville is.
