The West is outrageously loaded this season. It's possible that we could see a three-loss champion in Atlanta. To date, only one three loss team has represented the West in Atlanta, the 2001 LSU Tigers.

So I guess the 8-3 Arkansas Razorbacks of 1995 and the 9-3 Arkansas Razorbacks of 2002 never existed then?

Without looking it up, I believe 98' Miss State, 95' Arkansas, and 02' Arkansas all had three losses heading to Atlanta. 93' Alabama had an 8-2-1 record going to the SECCG
