The only hole in our offense that year was the lack of a deep threat WR. McCarron was above average, the offensive line was solid and we had two great RBs to run through the holes they created (Richardson and Lacy). '11 Alabama was the embodiment of what Nick Saban said he planned to create in his first press conference back in '07.

Alabama's wide receivers from the 2011 team were mediocre at best. IMO, that doesn't matter anyways, as AJ McCarron hadn't been given the keys to the offense just yet.
