Is averaging 25th over 5 years elite?
2011 really brought the average down, but that was easily the least talented Auburn team I remember, especially on offense.

Auburn had guys like Clint Moseley, Barrett Trotter, Kiehl Frazier, AJ Greene, Jared Cooper, John Sullen, Quindarius Carr, Deangelo Benton, Trovon Reed, Travante Stallworth, Chad Slade, Tunde Fariyke, Eric Mack, Blake Burgess and Jay Wisner either starting, contributing or serving as a back-up.

IMO, it's a miracle they finished where they did.

2011 really brought the average down,

No doubt that's true. Conversely, the generational talent at QB in 2010 likely brought the average up. Eliminate the outlier on bad end in 2011 and outlier on good end in 2010 and average the other 3. That's likely the more accurate number, IMO.
