I'm not calling Georgia's defense elite...I haven't in years. It's not. But you Auburn kids seem to think you have an elite offense, I was just pointing out your hipocrisy.

Gus Malzahn's offenses at Auburn vs Power 5 Conferences:
2009: 26th at 30.8 PPG (prior year was 114th at 15.5 PPG)
2010: 7th at 39.6 PPG
2011: 64th at 24.9 PPG
2013: 11th at 38.3 PPG (prior year was 122nd at 15.7 PPG)
2014: 20th at 35.8 PPG

Are these the stats of an elite defensive coach.
My post:

So....my statement was the same as the OP. And just as asinine. But here you are, carrying your little retarded torch.

Is averaging 25th over 5 years elite?

Auburn had guys like Clint Moseley, Barrett Trotter, Kiehl Frazier, AJ Greene, Jared Cooper, John Sullen, Quindarius Carr, Deangelo Benton, Trovon Reed, Travante Stallworth, Chad Slade, Tunde Fariyke, Eric Mack, Blake Burgess and Jay Wisner either starting, contributing or serving as a back-up.
IMO, it's a miracle they finished where they did.

2013 Texas A&M 628 Yards 42 PTS
Bama won the game

2013 Auburn 393 Yards 34 PTS
AU's O scored 28 points, not 34 (Kick Six, bruh)
quote:
2013 Oklahoma 429 Yards 43 PTS
OU's D got 7 points plus a short field for another TD (like 15 yards or less)
quote:
2014 WVU 393 Yards 23 PTS
Bama won. Also, 23 points and less than 400 yards in today's college football is not much
quote:
2014 Ole Miss 327 yards 23 PTS
23 points? how does this help your case? That game was on the O far more than the D.
quote:
2014 Auburn 630 Yards 44 PTS (Could of scored 70)
Bama won the game. If you "could of scored 70" you would have. Bama's half-time adjustments changed that game and you still lost by 11.
quote:
Ohio State 537 yards 42 PTS
I got nothin'. They beat Bama.

No doubt that's true. Conversely, the generational talent at QB in 2010 likely brought the average up. Eliminate the outlier on bad end in 2011 and outlier on good end in 2010 and average the other 3. That's likely the more accurate number, IMO.
