Had a pretty good career until the Tourettes and his conversion. Saying nothing of the merits of his conversion, Ramadan in the middle of a basketball season doesn't make for a great career when it is strictly observed by a player.

From wikipedia-
was named an NCAA First Team All-American in 1980 and 1981. As a senior, he was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and led LSU to the NCAA Final Four. He graduated as LSU's all-time leading rebounder (1,276) and second-all-time leading scorer (2,080).
Injured his hand in the 91 tournament, never got his touch back. I still think we win the tourney with him healthy, and it definitely affected his NBA career. Pre-injury, I'd say he's about equal/maybe a little better than Clyde "the Glide" Drexler and would have had the same pro career.
