One night they stopped a 45-year-old man for apparently no reason at all. After beating him senseless, they filed a report that the man had left his car and "rushed" them.
What did the witnesses say?
quote:
Their nightly fun of bullying the populace came to an end when the man recovered. He made an emergency call to the police saying there was a theft underway at his residence, knowing that those two cops were the only ones on duty in the small town.
They responded quickly, hoping I suppose, for an opportunity to put down a legitimate perp. When they parked in his yard and stepped onto his porch the victim of warrantless police brutality shot both dead.
He certainly doesn't sound like someone who might possibly have been the aggressor in an interaction with police.

What he sounds like is a man who was pushed and pushed the frick back the only way he knew would work. I'm not condoning it but I see his side.

We never know the battles other people are fighting in their heads.
