Oh, you mean the Mike Sherman years?

Mike Sherman didn't get us to the fourth quarter.

Early in his career he would blow games in the first or second quarter, and later in his career he would blow them in the third quarter. In 2010, his best season, he gave up 21 points to Oklahoma State in the third quarter in a loss in a game where we were ahead at half time.

In 2011 Okie State scored another 21 points in the third quarter for the win after being down at the half. That year OU scored 28 points in the Q3, Arkansas scored 10 points in Q3, and Texas scored 17 points in the third quarter to win that game. The third quarter was Sherman's ceiling.

If Chavis gets us over that hump and has us losing games in the fourth quarter it will be a new experience for many Aggies.

2010 FIU: Needed a furious 4th quarter rally trailing 20-6 to win 27-20.

2010 Missouri: Trailed 23-0 in the 3rd. Lost 30-9. Changed QBs after that game from Johnson to Tannehill.

I won't even mention the epic fail that was the 2011 season.
