Deion Jones has replaced Kwon Alexander at WLB.

That doesn't mean he's going to win that spot. Debo still has a lot of work to do with taking on blockers and missed tackles. So it wouldn't be a surprise too see someone else start at WLB

The word I've heard is that Tolliver is still maturing as well as learning the fundamentals.

Ed Paris came in last year as a 5-Star CB who could only see Special Teams. But he was an Early Enrollee so he's had a full year to be in this system as opposed to KT2 who is just now getting to campus.

I'd say we'll get him in at Nickel but that will only be situationally I'm guessing. Because Dwayne Thomas will have to see the field somehow. He's just too good not to be out there.

Let's go through the starting Lineup:

DE - Bain
DT - Godchaux (Orgeron thinks he's the next 1st rounder. True Soph. Miles up upside)
DT - LaCouture (steady eddie)
DE - Tayshaun Bower

LB - BECKWITHTRON5000
LB - Debo Jones
LB - Duke Riley

CB-Tre White
S - Jalen Mills
S - Jamal Adams
CB - Ed Paris

Food for thought: When the Frosh report in June, LSU will have the following 5-star athletes in its Defensive Secondary on campus:

Kevin Tolliver
Tre'Davious White
Jamal Adams
Xavier Lewis
Ed Paris
Donte Jakcson

Jalen Mills is our lowest ranked player from a Star POV, and he was a high 3 in school I think. He went on to become an Frosh-All SEC and Frosh All-American since then.

It's an embarrassment of riches in the Secondary for LSU.
