Georgia had a guy that wore #82 that was really good. Fred something.

Fred Gibson. Fred's an interesting story. He has big play potential out the wazoo but wasn't really a Tavarres King/AJ/Terrence type that could really be your #1 and you could throw to 10 times a game. He would make some unbelievable catches that seemed to defy logic, then drop one over the middle right in his hands. He had a pretty frail frame and certainly didn't like getting hit, and also had a few injuries in his day.

Still though, he was a great WR for us. We don't win the 02 Bama, AU, and Clemson games without him.

Absolutely remember him. I want to say that he was drafted by the Steelers, maybe?

Another nominee: Jake Bequette (sp?) from Arky. He tried to kill Connor Shaw in '11. He was a tough SOB.

Highly recruited...I believe he was a last minute flip from the Gators...we had to fork over a Tahoe (semi-new) and pretty damn nice for the early 2000's.
