Sorry you are struggling with a lot of people's opinions. A Bama fan posted this on the SECRant and open to discussion. NGT and I both think it is a great hire for recognition and splash value. To say it is great for win and losses is just being dishonest and too early to tell.
Assistant hires will be critical and I personally think his personality could play well in the living room of players and their families. We will see.
