quote:You've been misinformed. While there is a thing about not being a "former Aggie," use of the term "alumni" is not forbidden. Hell, the Association of Former Students has its headquarters in a building named the "Clayton W. Williams, Jr., Alumni Center."
So I know we've covered most of the weird aTm "traditions" on here (e.g. jizz jars, male spooning, etc) But today I found out about one that I think may have slipped through the cracks, apparently y'all don't use the term alumnus? apparently the preferred nomenclature is just "former student" Can any aggies give a little background info?
