I think he's just being argumentative. This isn't some local lore and isn't advertised as 'the strip' the way other places are. Cumberland hasn't even been a bar district for its entire time.

Dude I'm sorry that I told you there is no Santa Clause but that is not why it is called that. The Strip is not on maps of Tuscaloosa either. Yes the streaking happened but its called that, just like all the other college towns, because it is a strip of bars.
