That still does not change the fact that he opted to take less money at a mid major rather than take more money and coach at Alabama.

I see what you're saying, and it has merit, because Wichita St. is a high paying mid major job. But my point still stands.

I don't think so. In my limited memory, most successful mid major coaches have welcomed the challenge of taking a job at a higher profile school.

Shaka Smart has turned down major jobs before. But he's being paid like he's at a high profile P5 school. Just like Marshall.

ETA: Few has turned down some major offers as well, reportedly.
