You just proved Auburn did not offer Jonathan Taylor a scholarship
I never said Auburn offered him a scholarship. I said they were interested. And I showed where one of your coaches stayed in contact. That isn't interest?
Wait...Georgia offered the guy a scholarship BEFORE he got into trouble? THAT is what you are saying. Pretty bad stuff there, man. REALLY bad stuff.

I'm not annoyed by you. I think it's really sad. I don't feel like you're just some terrible person. But for some reason you have a deep burning hatred for Alabama.
It's a shame, because devoting that much time towards hating something has to suck the life out of you. There's no way you're leading a happy life with that much hatred.

Because coaches never lie, right?
Wasn't it Malzahn who was criticizing everybody for faking injuries when one of his own players was shot be a phantom sniper?

Lol fact is Taylor played at to universities. UGA and Alabama. JT was arrested twice while wearing a dash uniform. Sounds like you have nothing to stand on.
You need to go back and read before posting. I never criticized Auburn OR Alabama for giving second chances. I merely corrected an Auburn fan for saying Auburn was never interested in Taylor going to Auburn.

As compared to Auburn actually talking to someone but ultimately deciding not to offer him a scholarship. Oh the horror!
Meanwhile the mutts saint of a coach actually announced Jonathan Taylor would not face any suspension after his first arrest on theft charges at Georgia

Maybe Garner said something that led him to believe that. Who knows how he got the idea? Either way it was nixed by the guy in charge.
Thank you. That's all I was saying. TT was saying Auburn had not interest in Taylor. I merely pointed out that they were.
AGAIN...I have no problem with any other school giving a player second chances. Sometimes it blows up in your face, though....this time it was Alabama.

Splitting hairs at this point. You could say they had no interest because Malzahn didn't go along with it or you could say they did because he kept in contact with Garner.

You really are impaired aren't you? Auburn has offered many players scholarships in second chance situations. I have no problem with that. just amazed at the sanctimonious attitude some have toward Alabama for doing the same thing. Truth is...neither school would have given any of these players second chances if they were not great athletes, so let's not pretend schools (Georgia included) is being magnanimous and just trying to help the players out.

Guys I swear I'm not upset.

True about splitting hairs. but do you think an assistant coach is staying in contact with a player without the head coaches knowledge? ESPECIALLY in a case like this? And giving that player the impression that he would get a scholarship?

Humor? I was unaware that I said anything funny? What gave you the impression I was laughing? Now..as far as gruesome...strong word, don't you think? His career must have been cut short, no? I mean, for it to be gruesome.

Sure I do. Could've easily told him that he hadn't talked to Malzahn about it yet. Didn't he recruit the guy to UGA? It's not like he didn't have an established relationship with him. I don't think these coaches are restricted in who they can and can't talk to.

I believe you. For all you Auburn fans ...again...I have no problem with Auburn giving second chances. I think it has paid off for the athletes and has paid off well for Auburn. Win/Win in my book.

Possible. And, it wouldn't be the first time a player wanted to hear something that wasn't said. Could be he wanted to pump up interest in himself by insinuating Auburn was interested.

Yes, Garner did recruit him and you could be right.

I honestly don't know. Just thought it was a coincidence that they were talking after Taylor was dismissed from Georgia. I can easily see a scenario where Garner thought "Auburn gives second chances and this guy is good! Let me talk to Taylor and see if he is interested!" Then Malzahn nixed it because of the charges. It's very possible.

Nice to actually have a decent convo on here that doesn't turn into a pissing match.

Like a Georgia fan has any room to talk on this subject. You and your entire moronic fan base self crown yourselves morality champions of the universe to compensate for having no or virtually no real chpionsjips over the last 3 decades. However, I could list numerous examples of cheating and thuggery that has gone at your school over the last 25 or 30 years.
This includes everything from keeping to Vince Dooley around for 20 years after one of Georgia's own professors accused him of being a cheater, hiring Jim Harrick as your basketball coach when nobody else would touch him because of his reputation as a scumbag, and recruiting and keeping numerous thugs in both football and basketball

I prefer it. I used to troll a bit...but grew tired of it. Now I like to jump on people that are trying to troll. Not much better, I guess, but I like a good solid conversation. I come here for information, but it's hard to tell what is good information and what is not with all the garbage on here sometimes. Don't misunderstand...some of our Georgia fans are just as bad.
