We need to find a way to go private. Gets rid of our IHL issue and the Ayers bull shite.

Actually a very small portion of the Ole Miss budget is provided by the state (I think less than 20%). If Ole Miss went private it could make up for the lost revenue by raising tuition. Tuition is so low right now you could probably quadruple it and it would still be affordable.

In my opinion, giving up state funding to cut ties with a backwards state that makes boneheaded decision after boneheaded decision in regards to education is worth it. Getting a fricking 16 on your ACT should cause you to feel like the moron you are and not reward you with higher education you are unqualified to comprehend.

Also, IHL has been fricking Delta State for years.

Good idea. We should start the appraisal process right now on the physical plant and all properties and y'all buy the dang thing. Excellent idea. Y'all giving up the medical center? They get a $200,000 every year from the state. Oh, we (the state) built all of those buildings, too.
