What point are you trying to prove? I imagine there are quite a few coaches that would move for truly elite jobs like North Carolina and Duke that won't move for Alabama

Grant was one of those big names 6 years ago. Was considered a great hire and destined to do big things.

We also only had 5 coaches since 1968. 2 of those being promotions from within.

The obvious point is that there are very few big name coaches. There are very few of those (less than 5) who are available. Alabama has far more resources to go after a big name coach than your school does and yet you're stuck in this thread being dumb.
