Extremely lucky. Usually here it's automatic arrest. I've had 4 friends arrested in the last month for DUI and all blew under a .08. My dad has always told me never blow though and just go to jail. I was polite the whole time though, and was making small talk with the second cop who came up and said I was out with a friend who had just got back into town and that I had to be up early, he asked why and I told a little white lie that I was a third grade teacher. I actually work with third graders in the after school program and he asked to see my badge, so I showed him and he said thanks we need more male elementary teachers. Him and his buddy huddled up and they let me go.
