This is bullshite of the highest order. The UAB athletic department is poorer than Auburn and not one shred of proof has ever been brought forward that indicates those projects ever had more than handshake promises for donations.

The handshakes have never been given an opportunity to became anything more than just that.

Attendance was up big time for football this season. That was in a 6-6 season. Because for the first time we had a good coach and there was obvious signs of progress and hope for the future.

Would you write a check for something you weren't guaranteed to see? The last time UAB put together a proposal for a stadium the BOT refused to even hear it. The people from UAB showed up to the meeting and weren't even acknowledged
