I think you should be employed and paying taxes to vote. I also believe felons should have the right to vote if they are no longer locked up and are off paper.

ABSURD.

So a hardworking town that lost its only plant and has 1,000 out of work people can't vote for the guy they think can maybe deliver another job opportunity?

That's just as bad as the "can't vote on welfare".

EVERYONE in our country should have the right to vote, even former prisoners. However, making it mandatory is just as bad as outlawing it for certain groups. It removes your choice to vote or not, which is a fundamental right in our country.



Like someone else said, we need a 2 day national holiday to vote. Close everything in the country besides voting booths. Also, increase education of importance of the vote in all state funded schools. I mean shite, they could have taught us more about that when they taught us all the national anthem and pledge of allegiance.

this is my only big thing. it's kinda a modern day jim crow.

you got people who got picked up for weed and shite who can't vote even though they pay taxes that's so stupid
