ETA: ok, gotta correct you on something. "A&M is not traditionally a baseball school." For most of the late 80s and early 90s, A&M led the nation in baseball attendance. LSU won 6 Natties in the 90s and they passed us somewhere in there.
Since that time we've done things to ruin the ambiance at Olsen but in the early 90s, we averaged more than BBP capacity today. In fact the NIT thread I thought was odd because when I was in school baseball averaged about twice the attendance of basketball (which says a lot about both programs). And despite our dwindling attendance, I'm not sure we've ever fallen out of the national top 10.
A&M is very much a traditional baseball school.
