here are the players form those years that lead the SEC in Rushing Yards
2014- CAP
2013- Tre Mason
2010- Cam Newton
All of them Lead the SEC in rushes as well.
here is the Margin between them and the second most carries that year
2014- CAP 84 carries second most carries in SEC
2013- Tre Mason had 102 more carries than the next running back
2010- Cam had 15 more than the next leader in carries
What I am saying is, Cam was a beast
Tre Mason and CAP are good Running backs with inflated numbers because they gat significantly more carries than everyone else in the SEC.
Tre Mason had 114 more carries than Jeremy Hill who was the second leading rusher.

quote:That's probably why LSU couldn't and didn't win the SEC in 2013 even though they had Zach Mettenberger, Jarvis Landry, O'Dell Beckham Jr and Jeremy Hill...
Tre Mason had 114 more carries than Jeremy Hill who was the second leading rusher.
They didn't give the ball to their best players enough.
