Posted by McGregor I think the better question is, what jobs are coming open this year? Miller makes $450k at Dayton. We can obviously make that right but who will we be competing with?

Biggest jobs open at the moment besides ours are DePaul, George Mason and Nevada. The rest are smaller schools or less relevant schools. Those are the biggest names with basketball cache'.

Knock on wood....I think we are very fortunate that we're really not competing with some big names for coaches. Landing a great coach is all about timing. Not sure if Battle took that into consideration or not. Imagine if we had kept Grant another year and we had to compete with Indiana, Texas, and/or other top tier programs.
