Nah... it must have been because we were using Auburn as a measuring stick. You know... since Grant was only 4-1 against Bruce Pearl in his career and beat him twice this year.
I would be denying it too.

There's simply no factual evidence to support it. At all.
It may be fair to say that the hire of Bruce Pearl put pressure on the AD to make a move. But the bottom line is that Anthony Grant should have been fired last year.
A measuring stick you are not.

Dude, Pearl is a good coach. Auburn will continue to improve.
But don't delude yourself into thinking that Bruce is the reason that Grant was fired.
